In 2000, Diamond Kings Baseball started in an old shopping mall with 4 batting cages and a dream of helping every player who walked through the doors players reach their potential. Over 10 years later, these facts prove the dream continues and has become a reality:- Diamond Kings has trained over 15,000 players ages 7 through the pros.
- Diamond Kings has trained over 200 college baseball and softball players and has produced numerous professional players.
- The company’s training programs are utilized by youth organizations and high schools around the state
- Diamond Kings and its programs have been featured by media outlets such as ESPN, the New York Times, WTIC Fox61 and WFSB Channel 3
- Diamond Kings administers USA Baseball’s NTIS program throughout New England
- Every DK Staff member has played or coached professionally or in college
Diamond Kings has been conducting summer baseball and softball camps for Little Leagues and recreational departments since 2000. Unlike other summer camps that babysit and play unsupervised games all day, Diamond Kings combines innovative drills with controlled scrimmages with an emphasis on player development and game skill improvement. With our indoor facility operating all year, all camp participants can practice and repeat the same curriculum presented during the summer camp.
Every Diamond Kings Summer Camp program for players ages 7-12 focuses on:
- Proper Throwing technique
- Fielding fundamentals
- Hitting fundamentals and Batting checklist
- In flight hitting mechanics
- 6 step pitching delivery
- Proper Base Running
- Bunting, Stealing, and Sliding
- First step quickness
- Flexibility and Injury Prevention
- A better sense of Self Confidence
The only things you as coach or organization need to do:
- Secure a location of your choice to host the Diamond Kings skills clinic and camp
- Provide necessary information for direct mail and email campaigns
