Connecticut's Youth Camp Leader!

   Since 2007, Diamond Kings Baseball and Softball Academy has been conducting 2  "must attend camps" for any youth player to get lots of ground balls, throws, pitching drills, swings and build confidence heading into the spring season!

Some of the topics covered are:

Youth Preseason Baseball Camp 

Baseball Camp starts Sunday Feb 10, 2019 for 8 weeks
2019 League Age 5/6 and 7/8         Sundays 12:30 to 2pm in BRISTOL
2019 League Age 9/10 and 11/12     Sundays 2pm to 3:30pm in BRISTOL

Our DK and Parisi winter baseball workouts focus on Diamond Kings' ability to deliver the finest baseball instruction possible and the sports performance techniques that have made Parisi the nation's leader in the industry since 1991.

An active dynamic warm-up, proper running technique, acceleration, first-step quickness, agility, change of direction, and relative body strength will all be emphasized along with executing proper fundamentals and advanced techniques of baseball with the DK staff of professional players and coaches.

Pitching, Hitting, Fielding, Base Running & Stealing. DK and Parisi sessions focus on DK’s ability to deliver the finest instruction possible and the sports performance techniques that have made Parisi the nation’s leader in performance enhancement since 1991.

Parisi Speed School's active dynamic warm-up, proper running technique, acceleration, first-step quickness, agility, change of direction, and relative body strength will all be emphasized along with executing proper fundamentals and advanced techniques of softball by DK’s staff of coaches.

What can I expect from Pre Season Camp?

Repetitions     All players must take ground balls, hit, pitch, catch, and throw to maximize their skills.
Training         All players must work the appropriate muscles in the appropriate fashion to improve all their skills.
Endurance   All players must TRAIN for the season, not practice for the season.  Champions are made in the off season.
Baseball Specific Movements   Players must master all movement when on offense and defense.  Baseball is a game of reaction and players must learn proper technique for sprinting, jumping, decelerating and changing direction.
Warm Up    A dynamic warm up is the CORRECT way to warm up the body.  It activates the central nervous system and helps warm up the correct muscles about to be engaged on the field and while training.
Strength    Core, lower, and upper body strength training is essential when becoming an overall better athlete and ballplayer.  It’s important to compliment the technique by learning through our program with proper training.
Confidence    Confidence comes from repetitions and hard work.  We’ll help push the athletes in the right direction for on field performance.
